Sales Team: New AdditionsSales Team: New Additions

With a number of new contracts at venues across London and the Home Counties, the Zest team is fast expanding. There has been an addition to the Bletchley Park Hospitality team as a General Manager role was created, as well as growth in the Marketing Department. The most substantial expansion has been seen in the Sales Team, with the recruitment of three new members within the last five months.

The sales team headed by Greg Pounds, has recently taken on Sales Executive Helen Butler (October), Sales and Events Manager Karen McCarthy, and Hospitality Coordinator Sarah O'Connor. Greg states 'With impressive National Trust site Stowe Gardens appointing us as exclusive wedding hospitality providers, a constant stream of enquiries at Bletchley Park Mansion (where we have been the in-house events team for over six years) on top of a significant increase in interest from London venues, the board of directors felt the need to reflect, and ultimately match this growth of business internally. I believe we have recruited three individuals who truly understand what Zest is about, and look forward to developing the Sales team utilising each employee's unique expertise.'

Karen McCarthy joined The Zest Group at the start of 2012, bringing with her experience in high-end client services including VIP liaisons, and knowledge of the running of international organisations such as Ingram Micro and Mercedes Benz. She has extensive understanding of the event planning industry, corporate hospitality and wedding coordination.

Media and Communications graduate Sarah O' Connor has had substantial experience in customer relations. Following three years with Barclaycard where she coordinated a number of successful events and fundraisers, Sarah moved to Zest realising her enthusiasm for, interest in, and understanding of the events industry.

'It is fantastic to see such a vast range of experience in a relatively small team,' stated Managing Director of The Zest Group Steven Hancock, 'I am incredibly excited to see what they will achieve when they combine their impressive knowledge.'
